On Saturday, 12 September 2026, the feast of the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, Metropolitan Jean of Dubna led the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral on rue Daru. He was joined by the auxiliary bishops Simeon of Domodedovo, Elisey of Reutov and Augustin of Taldom, and by clergy who had come to share the feast.
After the Liturgy, the Metropolitan presented certificates of gratitude to two parishioners of the cathedral, Grigory Petko and Yuri Melnik, for their service. The feast ended with the traditional procession and a meal prepared by the parishioners.
On Sunday, 13 September, with the archbishop’s blessing, Bishop Augustin of Taldom celebrated the Liturgy, during which he ordained Deacon Karol Lupus to the priesthood for the parish of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in Düsseldorf.
