From 2 to 4 October 2026 the Saint Silouan the Athonite Association will hold its 32nd annual meeting in Paris. This year’s theme is “God’s Love in the Face of Suffering”. The meeting is listed in the Archdiocese’s calendar.

As the organisers point out, trials and death, which provoke rebellion, doubt and questions, remain incomprehensible from a purely human point of view. By fully assuming our human nature, Christ offers an answer to suffering — and that answer will be at the heart of the meeting.
