The relics of Saint Genevieve: a holy site open on any day

Saint Genevieve (420–502) is the patroness of Paris and a saint of the undivided Church. Her relics are venerated in the church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, next to the Panthéon.

The church is open almost every day and candles always burn before the reliquary. The Orthodox parishes of Paris come here to pray, and in January on the days of the saint’s memory.
